Eden Log Review

I know you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, but the only reason I wanted to watch Eden Log was because of the awesome poster. I thought it looked original, and I was right.

The film starts with the main character waking up in an unfamiliar place with no memories of how he got there or who he is. This grabs your attention right away and holds it. The setting is amazing; it is like one giant living world. It is mostly dark, wet and cold with shades of blue and gray, and this gives it a distinct atmosphere; one of claustrophobia in many ways, urging you to want more exploration. This works well as there isn't much dialogue throughout, with the drive of the film being to get to the 'top'. More and more is revealed as you watch, and I could not take my eyes off it. A fresh and intriguing film which takes you on a wonderful visual journey. 9/10.
