The Strangers review

A surprisingly raw horror movie for these days, The Strangers is set in an isolated holiday home and the events take place over one night. The film doesn't really have a deep story line, it's more a kind of 'last house on the left' style pointless violence plot. However where it lacks in writing it makes up for in atmosphere. It is extremely tense and will have you jumping throughout, and the use of masks is an excellent choice. For a decent scare this hits the spot. 6/10.
